The Money Kings know that everyone is interested in finding out about things that are totally FREE. Sometimes it can be difficult to find things that are not only advertised as being free, but also wind up really being free as well! We’ve all had experiences of being bamboozled into sexy-sounding deals that we though would be free, but wound up having some sort of catch. The devil’s always in the details, as you know.

For your consideration: Save Money On Your “FREE” Credit Report By Not Getting Scammed By Experian.

The Money Kings are in awe, AGAIN! A couple of days ago, a news story broke about Experian (one of the oligarchs in charge of all of American’s credit scores, and therefore really in charge of their credit itself) deciding to sue a company called LifeLock for fraud and misleading advertising.

At this time, The Money Kings are on the side of LifeLock, FWIW.

“MoneyKing! What’s LifeLock?”

LifeLock is a company that can be heard all over the radio advertising how they can keep your identity safe from theives, or they’ll pay you a million bucks. Simple concept. Apparently, Experian has a problem with this . . .

In reading over the case, The Money Kings wound up having a huge problem with Experian.

The problem we have is with Experian’s service called: FreeCreditReport.com

“MoneyKing! Why would you have a problem with this free service???!”

FREEZE!! Right there . . .

The article we were reading about the Experian v. LifeLock case wound up explaing how Experian has had legal problems with the FTC, because their site is confusing people for the following reasons:

  1. FreeCreditReport.com looks similar to consumers eyes when they see the web site AnnualCreditReport.com
  2. FreeCreditReport.com isn’t free at all! You have to pay Experian each month to use the service.

The Money Kings won’t even dignify this situation by giving you a link to FreeCreditReport.com.

AnnualCreditReport.com is a federally mandated source for obtaining credit scores for free–really FREE!! The Money Kings say, SHAME, on Experian. We also feel that it’s shameful that a country that relies so much on consumer credit would even allow credit reports to not have been freely available for as long as we have. Geez.

Regardless, stay away from FreeCreditReport.com. Use AnnualCreditReport.com and take advantage of government working for you. Save your money.

So many people trying to trick us each and every day into paying for something that our own government allows us for free . . . Don’t take it any longer. The Money Kings will show you the way.

Good luck out there.
