For your consideration: Free Days At The Chicago Museum of Science and Industry Save You Money.

Doing some internet-digging for deals can be very lucrative. Of course, you know this already. That’s why you read The Money Kings!

Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry is home to over 35,000 exhibits within 400,000 square feet of space. What’s better is that this huge museum offers many free days for you, your family and friends throughout the year. Heck, HALF of the entire month of January is free of admission charges this year! Why pay when you can simply schedule your visit during a free day?

On its web site, MSI Chicago lists all free days and extended hours for 2008.

The Money Kings considers a free day at MSI Chicago with lunch at the museum and dinner at one of Hyde Parks many restaurants to be an excellent time in Chicago’s South Loop. And just think of all the souvenirs you’ll be able to buy with your tax credit money . . .

Good luck out there.

  1. It’s worth every penny to go visit that place. Free days make it even all that much better. My favorite is the IMAX there!

  2. Just so you don’t have to leave the site, I posted the days that are free below:

    • January 12 through 31
    • February 29
    • June 17 through 22
    • September 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30
    • October 31
    • November 27 (Thanksgiving)
    • December 24 (Christmas Eve), 31 (New Year’s Eve)
  3. IMAX is just a big, giant screen. OmniMax is a globular experience! It’s even better than what they have at New York’s American Museum of Natural History.

  4. You’re absolutely right, OmniMax! I was just reading about the local IMAC screen in Batavia and had that on my brain. Thanks for the correction!
